Group maintains a dedicated team of engineers to support the
design and installation of 3rd rail systems for trains and overhead
systems (catinary) for light rail. The Group will take full
responsibility for the design, supply and installation of the
system; thus removing this responsibility from the main contractor
or operator.
The
Group has designed its patented 3rd rail conductor rail consisting
of an aluminium body with a welded stainless steel cap. This
design combines excellent conductivity with high wear rates
thus providing long and economic life. This rail is now manufactured
in the Group's plants in UK and USA. It has been supplied
for transport systems in USA, Canada, UK, Denmark, Singapore,
Taiwan, Malaysia.
